BCI Media Group acquires online architectural product, project and professional platform Bluprin.

JAKARTA and SYDNEY, 11 Mar. 2019 – BCI Media Group, the leading construction information provider in the Asia-Pacific is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of Jakarta-based online architectural product, project and professional platform Bluprin.

Bluprin is an online platform that allows Design Professionals to create profiles and showcase their projects. At the same time, it enables Building Product Manufacturers to upload digital product libraries and interact with other participants in the network. It creates a new platform for the design community to discover and specify construction products.

Capitalising on clear synergies in relation to dynamic growth and innovative solutions, the acquisition enables both organisations to expand and develop their relationship with the extended Asia-Pacific design community. Combined, the organisations will create more effective and purposedriven product specification processes in our market places. In turn, this will positively contribute to our wider built environment.

Says Ricky Cahyadi, Founder of Bluprin: “We have always aimed to support the construction industry through providing accessible, candid information whilst simultaneously enabling key stakeholders to connect and make well-informed decisions. We are thrilled to join forces with BCI Media Group as both companies share the same long-term vision. We feel confident that BCI Media Group’s long history as the leading provider of construction information combined with the efforts of our passionate team will create further positive outcomes for the industry and it’s communities.”

Robert Krups, CEO BCI Asia confirms: “The team at Bluprin has built a solid, smart and functionally advanced platform that will allow decision makers in the construction and design industry to make better specification choices. We are excited to start working together to boost the depth and reach of the platform as well as push into new areas of SaaS functions that will enhance collaboration and ease management of product information.”

The integration of the two organisations will take place throughout 2019, during which time the platform and network will be upscaled considerably before being launched within BCI markets. Both Bluprin and BCI clients will be able to take advantage of the combined value and performance offered by new marketing opportunities, championed by an unparalleled, expanding product portfolio.
